Extremely Challenging site Investigation Campaign

Over a week, Java Insignia has been ‎performing an extremely challenging site investigation campaign on the eastern side of North East Kalimantan for a development well. Our survey operations faced a myriad of challenges ranging from shallow water areas below 7m, heavy marine traffic such as barges, fishing boats, taxi boats and shipping carriers whilst towing 1200m of streamers as well as other sonar equipment. Despite all those challenges, we managed to safely complete the campaign as a result of close coordination between the client, local communities and ourselves and more importantly, every team member played a key role in demonstrating safety leadership at all levels which has contributed to the safe operation.
